Mythos Big Puft Fuzz Pedal
The Big Puft is Mythos’ playful looking but seriously capable take on the classic BMP style fuzz. It shows up in a compact, easy to place enclosure and is tuned for a smoother gain range, a stronger mid presence, and enough output to wake up any amp. The circuit pulls from several of Zach Broyles’ favorite Big Muff flavors, which gives this one a voice that actually holds its place in a mix instead of sinking behind bass and drums.
The three-knob layout keeps things simple in the best way. You can roll from thick, sustaining fuzz walls to more focused, mid forward textures without ever losing clarity. True bypass switching and solid build quality make it a great fit for players who want that vintage inspired fuzz character with the reliability and feel of a modern pedal.
Controls
Volume- Sets the overall output level. There is plenty of headroom here, so you can keep things even or push the front of your amp a little harder.
Tone- Shapes the EQ of the fuzz. You can sweep from darker, thicker sounds to brighter and more cutting textures without losing the character of the circuit.
Sustain- Controls the amount of gain and saturation. Lower settings give you a gritty, open fuzz. Higher settings move into long, singing sustain with that classic BMP feel.
