Overview

At Round Hill Music Co, we strive for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please review our return policy below for details on returning items.

Return Windows and Conditions

  • Guitars (New, Used, and Vintage): Customers have a 48-hour approval window from the date of receipt to request a return. Guitars returned within this period will be refunded, minus any original and return shipping costs.

    • Exchange Option: Guitars may be exchanged within 7 days for store credit, minus original and return shipping costs.

    • Custom Guitars: All custom guitar sales are final and non-returnable. Round Hill Music Co. will liaise with manufacturers on your behalf to address any issues. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to start the build, and specifications cannot be altered once construction has commenced.

      Timing of Custom Builds: Custom guitars are handcrafted by skilled artisans, and delivery estimates may vary due to factors like humidity, builder workload, and the nature of the materials. We will provide our best estimate of delivery time before you place your order, but please be aware that delays may occur. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Vinyl, Apparel, and Accessories: These items must be returned within 7 days of receipt, in new, unused condition with tags and packaging intact. Refunds will exclude original shipping costs.

  • Guitar Amps and Pedals: Amps and pedals can be returned within 48 hours of receipt, provided they are in new condition with all packaging, manuals, and accessories included. Return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.

Restocking Fees

Round Hill Music Co. may apply a 15% restocking fee on returns that exceed the approval window or in cases where the product shows signs of wear or damage. No restocking fees will apply for items returned within the specified return window. This policy is in place to protect against abuse, but reasonable requests will always be considered.

Layaway Program

Layaway items require a 25% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due within 30 to 60 days, depending on the terms agreed upon at purchase. If the layaway is not completed in time:

  • The item will return to inventory.
  • Any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be issued as store credit.
  • Layaway items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Prepaid Return Labels and Shipping Deductions

  • Prepaid Label: To streamline returns, we provide a prepaid return label. The cost of the label will be deducted from the refund. Using our prepaid labels ensures the item is fully insured, and we will manage any claims in case of shipping damage.

  • Return Shipping Responsibility: If a customer prefers to ship an item back themselves, they assume responsibility for shipping costs, insurance, and any damage claims.

Digital Receipts and Contact Information

To reduce paper use and streamline record-keeping:

  • All receipts will be issued digitally and sent to the email provided at the time of purchase.

  • We require an email address to complete all purchases, and receipts will be sent digitally.

Return Authorization (RA)

Returns require an RA number. Customers can request an RA number within the return window through the return portal on our website, which will automatically expire after the return period. This allows us to efficiently track returns with minimal email traffic.
