The Ampliphonix and Gain is a uniquely versatile tube amplifier that combines two distinct voices in one package, pairing Ultraphonix-inspired "Fender-ish" cleans with the high-gain character of a modified Marshall Plexi. Powered by an EL34 output section, the amp delivers everything from shimmering, articulate cleans to thick, harmonically rich overdrive. The Ampliphonix channel is based on an original Dumble Ultraphonix, offering a bold, powerful clean tone with remarkable presence and a distinctive swirling quality that gives the impression that the amplifier is breathing with every note. A bright switch provides additional tonal flexibility and allows the player to fine-tune the channel's response.

The Gain channel delivers aggressive, harmonically rich high gain with a tighter, more evenly rounded low end than a traditional Plexi, while remaining responsive enough to dial back for classic rock tones. Both channels feature their own reverb, adding depth and dimension across the amp's wide tonal range. A two-button footswitch provides convenient channel switching and access to a clean boost, making it easy to move from pristine cleans to powerful overdrive while performing.
