An absolutely breathtaking creation from the Taylor Custom Shop.  This rare piece is from Taylor’s Custom Catch program, built for NAMM 2026. Each Custom Catch design is hand selected by Taylor’s team and crafted from unique tonewood sets and boutique appointments that are never repeated.

From head to toe, this is luxury.  The white Lutz Spruce top, the purple and natural 4-piece back, the unique inlays, the adorned headstock.  Not a single detailed has been overlooked by the Taylor Custom Shop, creating a guitar the sounds as good as it looks.

The 12-fret Grand Concert is one of those designs that doesn’t look radically different on paper, but in your hands (and ears), it’s a totally different instrument than a standard 14-fret Taylor.  Pairing a compact body with a shorter neck joint, and shifting the bridge into a sweeter spot on the top for more warmth and resonance, the result is a guitar that feels softer and more relaxed to play with slightly looser tension and a more intimate response than a typical 14-fret. The result is a balanced, articulate guitar with a subtle vintage character.  Ideal for fingerstyle and recording.
