The Suhr Modern Plus HSH in Trans Charcoal Burst blends premium tonewoods, advanced electronics, and sleek aesthetics into a powerful, stage-ready instrument. A lightweight 2-piece basswood body paired with a flame maple top provides a rich, full tone with excellent balance and sustain, all wrapped in a dramatic Faded Transparent Charcoal Burst finish with scraped natural binding that highlights the figured maple top.
The HSH pickup configuration is optimized for versatility: a Suhr SSV humbucker in the neck, V60LP single coil in the middle, and a high-output SSH Plus bridge humbucker, all in black. With a 5-way blade switch and push-pull tone knob to split both humbuckers, this setup covers everything from warm cleans and glassy chime to aggressive modern drive.
The roasted maple neck and fingerboard offer incredible stability, resonance, and comfort. A Modern Elliptical profile (.800–.850"), 10"–14" compound radius, and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets provide a fast, even playing surface designed for technical precision and expressive bending. The gloss black headstock and black dot inlays keep the look clean and focused.
A Suhr 2-post tremolo with a steel block and solid saddles offers smooth vibrato with excellent tuning stability, paired with Suhr locking tuners to keep everything dialed in.
