Developed in collaboration with Defender, this limited-edition Silver Sky features the legendary Arles Blue finish, a color chosen from Mayer’s personal Defender and reimagined across the Silver Sky’s unmistakable silhouette. The finish is complemented by a matching painted headstock and white pickguard, creating a beautifully cohesive look that feels both classic and unmistakably distinctive. Only 500 examples of the Arles Blue model will be produced worldwide, making this a particularly special Silver Sky for players and collectors alike.

Beneath the exclusive finish is the Silver Sky platform developed by John Mayer and PRS around the sound, feel, and response of the vintage guitars that inspired it. The alder body is paired with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, featuring a 7.25" radius, 22 frets, and the 635JM-R neck shape. Three PRS 635JM single-coil pickups deliver the warm, full and distinctly vintage inspired tones that have become synonymous with the Silver Sky, while the five-way switching and independent tone controls provide a broad range of classic single-coil sounds. A high-gloss nitro finish completes the instrument with a level of refinement befitting this limited-edition collaboration. 

The Defender influence continues through the smallest details. A PRS Steel Tremolo with Gen III knife-edge screws, vintage-style locking tuners, and nickel hardware provide dependable performance while preserving the Silver Sky's traditional aesthetic. Each guitar includes a PRS ATA molded case with a custom Defender badge, along with a unique Defender-branded neck plate featuring the Arles Blue finish name and individual "1 of 500" designation. Inspired by open skies, coastal roads, and the freedom to take the long way home, Arles Blue gives the Silver Sky a sense of adventure that feels perfectly at home on an instrument built for exploration.
