The inlays are a tip of the hat to his symbol-named albums: Play, Pause, Rewind, Fast-Forward, and Stop, with the Play icon even popping up on the truss rod cover. Sheeran says he started painting to keep the creative juices flowing while off tour, explaining that staying creative, like keeping a faucet running, helps the best ideas come pouring out. His hope?
