The Novo Solus H2 takes the familiar single-cut formula and filters it through Novo’s and Dennis Fano's unmistakably modern, irreverent design language. Its tempered pine body features a beautifully sculpted German carve, giving the guitar a distinctive visual character while keeping the feel exceptionally comfortable against the player. A tempered maple bolt-on neck, rosewood fingerboard, chunky “C” profile and 9.5"-14" compound radius create a substantial yet effortless playing experience, while the 24.75" scale and 22 medium frets give the Solus H2 a familiar feel with plenty of room for expressive playing. Finished in thin nitrocellulose lacquer with medium distressing, it has the broken-in character of a well-loved instrument right out of the case.

Two Fralin Pure PAF humbuckers give the Solus H2 its voice, delivering the warmth, harmonic complexity and dynamic response associated with the best vintage-style PAFs while retaining the clarity and definition that make a Novo so versatile. The straightforward volume, tone and three-way toggle arrangement keeps the focus on the instrument itself, while the TonePros Tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail provide a familiar, rock-solid foundation. The result is a guitar that feels rooted in classic single-cut tradition without simply imitating it, combining vintage-inspired tones, unusual materials and Novo’s distinctive sense of design into something that feels completely its own.
