Mayones Jabba HF 5 - Antique Brown
Mayones has earned a reputation for crafting some of the world's finest handmade electric guitars and basses from its workshop in Gdańsk, Poland. Every instrument is built by skilled luthiers, blending time-honored craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques and premium parts. These guitars and basses have been meticulously handcrafted, ensuring superb attention to detail, outstanding playability, and uncompromising quality.
This signature bass, designed in collaboration with renowned French contemporary Jazz bassist Hadrien Feraud, combines vintage-inspired aesthetics with the refined craftsmanship Mayones is known for. With a spruce top, and finished in a beautifully Antique Brown, this bass has the look and feel of a well-loved vintage instrument while delivering the precision and reliability modern musicians demand.
Plugged in, the Jabba HF is every bit as impressive. A set of Delano JMVC 5 FE/M2 Jazz bass pickups paired with the Musashi 3-band preamp provides an incredibly versatile tonal palette, ranging from warm, vintage character to clear, punchy modern tones with ease. The built-in Headphone and Aux jacks add to this instrument's versatility allowing you to play virtually anywhere without the need for amps or extra equipment. Whether you're laying down smooth jazz lines, digging into funk grooves, or tackling rock and fusion, this bass has the flexibility to handle it all.
"When I needed to own a bass that would be utterly versatile from Pop music to Straight ahead Jazz with a lot of punch, clarity, sustain, great comfort, an awesome look and last but not least, light weighted, I called Dawid and here is the result! Extremely proud and grateful for this collaboration, Dawid and his team at Mayones guitars & basses never cease to amaze me. Please see and try it yourself!" - Hadrien Feraud
