This Round Hill Music Co. spec'd Martin utilizes absolutely exceptional, hand-selected, broad figure koa for the back and sides creating not only a visually striking appearance, but also a balanced tone with a strong midrange, bright highs, and tight, controlled bass.  Koa will become warmer, richer, and more complex over time as it ages is played more.  We appointed the herringbone trim to celebrate Martin's traditional craftsmanship and classic aesthetics.

The Martin Dreadnought is a large-bodied acoustic design known for its square shoulders and deep body, which allow it to produce strong volume and projection. This shape emphasizes powerful bass response and headroom, making it well suited for strumming and flat-picking. Because of its bold, full sound, the dreadnought has become one of the most widely used acoustic guitar body styles in folk, country, and bluegrass music.

The GE Modified Low Oval neck profile is a comfortable, modern neck shape inspired by Martin’s Golden Era (GE) vintage designs. It has a low-profile oval back that feels relatively slim in the hand, but with slightly fuller shoulders than the standard Modified Low Oval, giving it a bit more substance and support.
