This Custom Shop ’57 Les Paul Standard has a really strong personality with the single‑pickup setup. It feels quick and immediate, with nothing in the way of the bridge pickup. The Super D gives it a bold, aggressive voice that still keeps the classic LP mid push. Notes jump out fast, and the guitar reacts right away to how hard you dig in.

Mahogany and maple keep the tone familiar, but the single‑pickup layout makes the whole thing feel more open and direct. There’s a good amount of sustain and a tight low end that stays controlled even when you push an amp. The neck has a comfortable thickness that fills the hand without feeling oversized, and the rosewood board with trapezoids keeps the vintage look intact.

Gecko Green Sparkle is the part that really sets it apart. It has that Custom Shop VOS sheen, so the color pops without looking overly glossy. Gold Grovers add a nice contrast and feel smooth and solid. The ABR‑1 and stop bar keep everything stable and give the guitar that familiar LP feel under the right hand.
