This 1964/65 Fender Jaguar comes from Fender’s highly coveted pre-CBS era and embodies everything players love about early ’60s offsets—rich, characterful tone, excellent craftsmanship, and unmistakable vintage vibe.
This example is all original, with the only exception being the treble-side control plate, which is a period-correct replacement; the original plate is included in the case. The guitar plays smoothly with low action.
The discoloration on the back of the body was caused by a felt scratch pad that remained on the instrument for decades. The neck is dated December ’64, and the pots date to the 51st week of ’64, suggesting the guitar was most likely assembled in early January 1965.
Also included are the original case, tremolo bar, and strap
