Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Greg Fessler 60's Stratocaster RW Relic - Josefina HW Pickups - Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst

This Greg Fessler Masterbuilt Stratocaster is a beautiful tribute to the early '60s Strat formula, finished in Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst and loaded with Josefina Campos hand-wound pickups. From the moment it's in your hands, it feels like a guitar that's spent decades being played, loved, and carefully maintained. The relic work is exceptionally convincing, capturing the look, feel, and resonance of a great vintage Strat so authentically that many collectors would struggle to tell it apart from the real thing.

What makes this instrument stand out is how naturally it delivers the vintage experience. The sorted ash body and AAA rosewood slab board give the guitar a remarkably lively and responsive feel, while the comfortable 60 Style Oval "C" neck seems to disappear in your hand. Every detail contributes to the impression of a well-preserved pre-CBS Strat that's already been played in for generations.

The Josefina Campos hand-wound pickup set completes the package perfectly. Fat '50s pickups in the neck and middle positions provide sweet chime, warmth, and clarity, while the Texas Special bridge pickup adds extra punch and bite when called upon. Built by Greg Fessler, one of the Fender Custom Shop's most respected Master Builders, this is the kind of guitar that captures everything players chase in a great vintage Strat while delivering the consistency and reliability of a modern Custom Shop instrument.
