EVH Limited Edition Wolfgang Special Striped Series - Distressed Ivory
Designed as an homage to Eddie Van Halen's touring guitar used on the 2015 "Different Kind of Truth" world tour, the distressed "Ivory over Black" was a last-minute special request which was used to replace his #1 during that tour.
This guitar has a basswood body with an arched top, graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck - carved and rolled to EVH's exacting specifications and a speedy 12'-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets. True to form, a set of Wolfgang AL2 bridge and AL3 humbuckers are mounted directly to the body and provide searing tone for chords and solo work. Add to that features such as a low-friction volume pot, momentary kill switch, EVH Floyd Rose 1000 series tremolo fitted with a D-Tuna Drop-D system and you have a shredder's dream guitar.
