The DarkRay II bass builds on the aggressive, forward-thinking design of its predecessor, adding onboard octave up and octave down effects to unlock an even wider range of tones. It retains the familiar control layout players rely on, including master volume, bass and treble EQ, plus a distortion knob with a push/push function that toggles between two distinct drive voices. An additional octave control also features a push/push switch, letting you quickly choose between octave up or down.

Both the distortion and octave controls are surrounded by LED rings that light up when active and shift color to reflect the selected mode, giving you clear visual feedback on the fly. A three-way selector switch lets you move seamlessly between your core tone, octave-only sounds, or a blend of octave and distortion for huge, harmonically rich textures.
