The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom brings the legendary tuxedo-inspired elegance of the original 1954 Les Paul Custom into a modern flagship model. Developed at the request of Les Paul himself, the Custom has long been distinguished by its refined cosmetics, block inlays, split-diamond headstock, and extensive binding. This version features a solid mahogany body with a maple cap for a balanced blend of warmth, brightness, attack, and sustain, paired with a one-piece mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays.

Under the hood, this Les Paul Custom is equipped with USA-made Gibson 490R and 498T humbuckers, CTS controls, Mallory capacitors, and Switchcraft electronics for a distinctly Gibson-inspired voice and responsive feel. A long neck tenon enhances stability and sustain, while the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar provide reliable intonation and resonance. Finished with Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and a five-ply bound open-book headstock, it arrives in a black hardshell case with a plush goldenrod interior.
