Dave Nichols, AKA Red Dave, is one of the most respected builders associated with the modern era of the Charvel Custom Shop. He became known among players and collectors for building extremely high-end, hot-rodded super-Strats that capture the spirit of the original Charvel guitars from the late ’70s and ’80s.  New Red Dave builds are in very high demand and currently on a two year wait time.
