We’re excited to announce that Round Hill Music Co is now an authorized dealer of Powers Electric, a brand that represents a bold new chapter in American electric guitar design.
Founded by master builder Andy Powers, Powers Electric is the result of a lifelong obsession with how things work. Andy built his first “guitar” at just seven years old, a guitar-shaped object that famously exploded under string tension, but the spark was lit. Growing up in North County San Diego, he was immersed in a collision of surf, skate, hot rod, music, art, and design culture. That Southern California energy became foundational to the brand’s identity.
Powers Electric was created to reimagine what a modern electric guitar could be. The ethos is simple but ambitious: thoughtful engineering, original design, and instruments that feel alive in your hands. From proprietary pickup designs to bold, sculpted body shapes and finishes inspired by classic automotive color palettes, every detail reflects intention and innovation. These guitars do not chase vintage replicas. They chart their own path.
