REV N’ SHRED: Where Cars, Guitars & Craftsmanship Come Together
On October 8th, Round Hill Music Co., Powers Electric Guitars, and Carriage House Motor Cars came together for REV N’ SHRED, an exclusive evening in Greenwich, Connecticut, bringing together two worlds we’re incredibly passionate about: guitars and cars.
Hosted inside the incredible Carriage House Motor Cars showroom, the event brought together musicians, car enthusiasts, collectors, and friends for a night of stunning instruments, iconic automobiles, live music, and great company.
A Collection Inspired by Automotive Icons
At the heart of REV N’ SHRED was a special collaboration with Powers Electric Guitars to create a collection of custom A-Type guitars inspired by the remarkable automobiles at Carriage House Motor Cars and Hampton Jolly.
Each guitar was thoughtfully designed with a finish color-matched to a specific vehicle, bringing some of the automotive world's most recognizable colors and design elements into the world of electric guitars.
From the unmistakable Rosso Diablo Red of a 1994 Lamborghini Diablo SE30 to the iconic Gulf Powder Blue and Marigold racing colors of a Ford GT40, every instrument tells a story that connects automotive design with guitar craftsmanship.
But the details went well beyond the paint. Carefully selected hardware, pickup configurations, fingerboards, pickguards, and other appointments helped tie each guitar back to its automotive inspiration. The result was a collection of instruments that celebrate the character of the cars while retaining the innovative design, exceptional playability, and distinctive sound that Powers Electric is known for.
Seeing these guitars displayed alongside the very cars that inspired them was one of the highlights of the evening. It was a rare opportunity to appreciate both forms of craftsmanship side by side and see just how much these two worlds have in common.
More Than Just a Guitar Show
REV N’ SHRED was about more than showcasing beautiful cars and guitars. It was an opportunity to bring people together through a shared appreciation for creativity, thoughtful design, and the craftsmanship behind extraordinary things.
Guests explored the collection up close, connected with fellow enthusiasts, enjoyed live music, and experienced an evening unlike anything we've hosted before.
For our team at Round Hill Music Co., seeing the showroom filled with people from both the music and automotive communities was incredibly rewarding. From longtime customers and friends to new faces discovering Powers Electric for the first time, the energy throughout the evening made all the work leading up to it worthwhile.
