This Limited Edition 1964 L-Series Stratocaster from the Fender Custom Shop blends classic tone with standout style. The body is two-piece alder, finished in flash coat lacquer and aged Candy Tangerine. It’s lightweight, resonant, and worn in just enough to feel familiar.
The rift-sawn maple neck features a flat laminate rosewood board with a 60-style Oval C profile. It measures .790 inches at the first fret and .930 inches at the twelfth, with a 9.5 inch radius and narrow tall frets for smooth playability. Micarta dot markers and vintage-spec tuner holes keep the look period correct.
Under the hood, you’ll find a hand-wound '64 Strat pickup set wired vintage-style with a 5-way CRL switch. The parchment back plate, aged white plastics, and green-black-green pickguard complete the build. Every detail is intentional, from the upgraded trem arm to the disc capacitor.
Includes vintage-style hardshell case and certificate of authenticity. Made in USA.
