This Fender Custom Shop 60's Tele brings vintage swagger and boutique refinement into tight focus. Its roasted alder body is bound in parchment and finished in Aged Natural lacquer that feels relic’d by time, not by marketing. The Closet Classic treatment adds just enough wear to suggest decades of stories without pushing into full-on road warrior territory. Chrome and nickel hardware keeps the look grounded and utilitarian, while the brown FCS case seals the deal with old-school elegance.
This Tele’s tonal heart is a study in contrast. Up front sits a Seymour Duncan Antiquity SP90 in black, ready to spill raw, expressive midrange. In back, the HW Loaded 51 Nocaster bridge pickup tightens things up with punchy articulation and vintage bite. Routed through a Reverse Fat ‘50s wiring harness, every volume roll-off and tone sweep reveals surprising nuance. The plain-grain maple neck wears a medium-tinted finish and a comfortable 60s Oval "C" profile. Paired with a dark AAA rosewood fretboard and mother-of-pearl dots spaced just narrowly enough to feel custom-fit, it’s familiar without being obvious.
