The result is an amplifier with an unmistakably vintage voice and feel, but with the consistency and performance you expect from a contemporary boutique design. It responds beautifully to the player’s touch, cleaning up with a lighter attack and opening up into rich, harmonically complex overdrive as you dig in.

The 28-watt Burnside is powered by a pair of 6L6 tubes, with a GZ34 tube rectifier and a 12AY7 preamp tube. Swapping the 12AY7 for a 12AX7 increases the available gain, giving you an easy way to tailor the amp’s response to your playing style. The intuitive control panel features a Bright switch along with Volume, Treble, Bass, and Presence controls. Like the vintage tweed circuits that inspired it, the Burnside’s controls interact in highly musical ways, allowing you to shape both the feel and tonal character of the amplifier. With the Bass control turned up, the amp develops a distinctive, resonant low end with an almost horn-like, trombone quality.

The Burnside also features a passive effects loop and 4, 8, and 16-ohm speaker outputs, making it remarkably versatile for both straightforward pedalboard setups and more elaborate rigs. Its compact chassis is finished in an elegant bronze color with cream lettering and housed in a pine cabinet designed to deliver the lively attack and resonance associated with vintage tweed amplifiers. The 1×12 combo is equipped with Two-Rock’s TR12 speaker, creating a remarkably responsive package that combines classic tweed immediacy with the refinement and clarity that define Two-Rock.

Amp Configuration: (2)6L6, (1)12AY7, (2)12AX7, (1)GZ34 Rectifier - 28 watts single channel

Speaker Outputs: 4ohm, 8ohm, 16ohm

Features: Compact chassis format, "Tweed Style" interactive Volume, Treble, and Bass controls, passive effects loop

Dimensions: 15.625"W x 19.25"H x 10.5"D (36 LBS)

https://roundhillmusicco.com/products/two-rock-burnside-28w-1x12-combo-brown-western-tolex-w-wheat-cloth
