Founded in 2008 by Lance and Lisa Lerman in their California garage, LSL Instruments set out to craft vintage-inspired guitars with the feel and sound of classic instruments. Their first creation, the T Bone, captured the essence of a '50s T-Style guitar, earning praise for its craftsmanship and tone. Today, LSL remains a boutique brand, hand-building soulful guitars with meticulous attention to detail for discerning musicians.
The LsL Saticoy HSS in Black combines vintage-inspired design with versatile tonal capabilities. Its alder body, paired with a gloss black finish and a 3-ply tortoise pickguard, exudes classic sophistication. Medium body aging and heavy neck aging add a worn-in aesthetic, while the gloss vintage-tinted maple neck features a Macassar ebony fingerboard for a sleek playing surface. A Medium C profile, 9.5" radius, and 22 6105 frets ensure smooth, comfortable playability.
Equipped with an HSS pickup configuration featuring an uncovered zebra humbucker at the bridge and parchment single coils, this Saticoy offers a broad tonal range, from warm and full to bright and articulate. The VTT 5-way selector with push/pull functionality enhances versatility, allowing split-coil tones on demand. Vintage hardware and a matching black gloss headstock complete this elegant yet powerful guitar, ready to excel on stage or in the studio.
